Welcome to The Dragoon Regiment!

The 2D Cavalry Regiment consists of six squadrons and is located at Rose Barracks in Vilseck, Germany.

The 2D Cavalry Regiment (2CR) or 2D Dragoons, known previously as both the 2D Armored Cavalry Regiment (Light) and the 2D Armored Cavalry Regiment (2ACR), is a military unit within the United States Army. It can trace its lineage back to the early part of the 19th century. 2CR has the distinction of being the longest continuously serving Regiment in the United States Army. The Regimental Motto is Toujours Prêt (French: 'Always Ready') - remember your regiment and follow your officers.

The first step in your PCS should be to get a sponsor. A sponsor is a fellow service member who is assigned to assist your through your PCS. If you have not yet been contacted by a sponsor, please use the email link to the right to request one.
