CSM Benjamin E. Pingel

Regimental Senior Enlisted Advisor

Command Sergeant Major Benjamin E. Pingel enlisted in the Army in 1998, completing One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky where he earned the military cccupational specialty of 19K, Armor Crewman.

He has served in all developmental and key leadership positons for an Armor/Cavalry enlisted Soldier from Tank Driver/Loader through Command Sergeant Major in both Armored and Infantry Brigade Combat Teams. His broadening assignments include serving as an Instructor/Writer and First Sergeant for the Armor Basic Officer Leaders Course, Senior Military Science Instructor at Iowa State University and most recently as the Task Force 4 (Cavalry Squadron) Command Sergeant Major OC/T at the Joint Readiness Training Center.

CSM Pingel has completed all levels of the NCOPDS through the Sergeant Major Course. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and development from the University of Louisville and a Master’s degree in management from Excelsior College.

CSM Pingel’s awards and decorations include the Combat Action Badge, recipient of the Order of Saint George, Bronze Award, and Honorary Member of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.

CSM Pingel is married.
