CSM Jesse J. Clark

Command Sergeant Major Jesse J. Clark is a native of Minerva, Ohio; he enlisted in the Army Reserves on February 12th, 2000, as a Hospital Food Specialist. He attended basic training at Fort Jackson, SC and Advance Individual Training at Fort Lee, VA and Fort Sam Houston, TX.  He was then assigned to the 256th Combat Support Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. After 9/11 he enlisted active duty in April 2002 as an Infantryman.  He attended Basic Training, Advance individual training, and Airborne School at Fort Benning, Ga.  He was then assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC.  His other assignments include Fort Campbell, KY, Fort Benning, GA, Fort Bliss, TX, Vilseck, Germany, Fort Johnson, LA, and Hohenfels Training Area, Germany.

His positions include Infantry Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, Calvary Troop First Sergeant, HHC First Sergeant, Operations Sergeant Major, Battalion Command Sergeant Major, and Task Force CSM.  His deployments include two times to Afghanistan in support of OEF, one time to Iraq in support of OIF, to Poland in support of OAR-N, to Kuwait in support of OSS and OIR, he also deployed to Qatar in support of Operation Allies Refugee.

Command Sergeant Major Clark’s education consists of all NCO PME, Airborne School, Ranger School, Reconnaissance and Surveillance leaders’ course, Air Assault School, Pathfinder School, Jumpmaster School, Rappel Master School, Joint Firepower Course, Combatives level one, Battle Staff, Equal Opportunity Course, and Master Resiliency Training.  His civilian education consists of an associate’s degree from Troy University in General Studies with a focus in Military Operations, a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Columbia Southern University in Organizational Leadership.

Command Sergeant Major Clark’s awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star medal, the Meritorious Service medal (2-OLC), the Joint Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (R device, 1-SLC, 4-OLC), Army Achievement Medal (1-SLC, 4-OLC), NATO Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge and various other awards and ribbons for service and dedication to the Army.

Command Sergeant Major Clark is married to Tiffany, and they have two daughters Brooklyn and Makenzie, as well as two sons Jesse Jr and Stephen.
