LTC Jason Kruck

Lieutenant Colonel Jason Kruck commissioned into the Infantry through the University of Florida’s Army ROTC program in 2007.

His first assignment was with the 82nd Airborne Division, where he served as a Rifle and Anti-Tank Platoon Leader and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Following this assignment, LTC Kruck served at the 5th Ranger Training Battalion as a Platoon Leader and the HHC Executive Officer. 

LTC Kruck completed the Maneuver Captain’s Career Course (MCCC) before commanding C/1-12IN, where he again deployed to Afghanistan. After his command tour, he served as a Small Group Leader and Team Chief at MCCC.   

LTC Kruck then attended the Naval War College, where he earned a Master’s degree in Defense and Strategic Studies and completed the Maritime Advanced Warfighting School. He subsequently served as an operational planner in the G5 for the 7th Infantry Division, and then as the Battalion Executive Officer for 1-23IN and Brigade S3 for 1-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team. 

Following these assignments, LTC Kruck served in United States Forces Korea where he held several roles in the CJ33 to include Watch Officer, Joint Operations Center Chief, and the Current Operations Branch Chief. Most recently, LTC Kruck served as the Deputy Director for the Commander’s Action Group at United States Central Command. 

LTC Kruck also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. LTC Kruck’s awards and decorations are commensurate with his time in service.  

LTC Kruck and his wife, Sarah, have three children – Evelyn, Ralph, and Ophelia.
