Command Sergeant Major Willie C. Allen is a native of Alabama and completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, SC and Advance Individual Training at Fort Lee, Va.
He has held various leadership and operations positions; to include Team Leader, Squad Leader, Section Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Detachment Sergeant, Operations Sergeant, Security Forces Advise Assist Team (SFAAT) NCOIC, First Sergeant, and Support Operations Senior Non-Commissioned Officer.
CSM Allen's CONUS and OCONUS assignments include: 528 QM Company Ft. Lewis WA; HHC 1-35 AR Baumholder Germany; HHC 2-8 Cavalry Regiment Ft Hood TX; AVIM Troop 4/3 ACR Ft Hood, TX; HHC 25th Transportation Battalion 19th ESC Korea; HHC 526 BSB FT Campbell KY, H Co 526 BSB Ft Campbell, KY and 16th Sustainment Brigade Baumholder, Germany. He has conducted a peace keeping mission on Camp Montieth Kosovo, deployed twice in the support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and once in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan).
CSM Allen's military schools and education include all NCOES's, First Sergeant and Company Commander Course, and Sabalauski Air Assault School. He has an Associate's degree in General Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Logistical Management from Excelsior College.
CSM Allen's awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal (2OLC), Army Commendation Medal (3OLC), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal (5OLC), Good Conduct Medal (7th Award), Iraqi Campaign Medal (4 Campaign Stars) Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 5), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 4), Combat Action Badge, Air Assault Badge, and the Wheeled- vehicle Operator Bar.
He is a member of the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Club. CSM Allen is married with three children.
