LTC Jeremy Medaris

LTC Jeremy Medaris is a native of Florence, Alabama. He received his commission as an Infantry officer through the ROTC program at Vanderbilt University in 2006.

LTC Medaris most recently served as a Joint Operations Center Chief of Operations with the U.S. Africa Command in Stuttgart, Germany. Previously, he held various staff, observer/coach & trainer, and instructor positions with the 101st Airborne Division, the United Nations Command Security Battalion - Joint Security Area, the Mission Command Training Program, and the U.S.  Army Cadet Command.

LTC Medaris has multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan with 25th Infantry Division and the 82nd Airborne Division. 

LTC Medaris’ awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, and various other Joint and Army awards. He has earned the Ranger Tab and the Expert and Combat Infantryman Badges.

LTC Medaris earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
