CSM Christopher Carbone

3rd Squadron

Senior Enlisted Advisor

Command Sergeant Major Christopher Carbone enlisted in the United States Army as an Infantryman, and graduated from 2-19th Infantry Battalion, Infantry One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Benning, Georgia.

His initial assignment was as a Rifleman and Team Leader in 3/505 Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina where he deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq.  Subsequent assignments include Squad Leader: 2-6 Infantry, 1st Armored Division, Baumholder, Germany; Ranger Instructor; Platoon Sergeant: 5th RTB, Dahlonega, Georgia; First Sergeant:  2-3 Infantry Battalion, JBLM, Washington; First Sergean: HHC 1-2 SBCT, JBLM, Washington; OC/T: 174th CATB, JBMDL, New Jersey. 

 

CSM Carbone's most recent assignment was as the Operations Sergeant Major with Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, FT Hood, TX. 

 

CSM Carbone’s military and civilian education includes U.S. Army Pre-Command Course, U.S. Army Sergeant's Major Academy (Class 69), Senior Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Basic Leaders Course, Master Resilience Trainer Course, Ranger School, Airborne School, Pathfinder School, Combatives Level 1, Mission Command Master Gunner, Basic Military Mountaineering, Recon and Surveillance Course (RSLC), SBCT Master Trainer, Safety Officer Course, SERE, and the Equal Opportunity Leader Course.  His civilian education includes a Bachelor of Arts degrees in Management from American Military University and in Leadership and Workforce Development from the Command and General Staff College.

His awards and decorations include Meritorious Service Medal (3), Army Commendation Medal (8), Army Achievement Medal (6), Army Good Conduct Medal (6), National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (5), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (3), Combat Infantryman's Badge, Expert Infantryman's Badge, Ranger Tab, Master Parachutist Badge, Pathfinder Badge, German Jump Wings, and The Order of Saint Maurice (Centurion).

CSM Carbone is married with three children.
