Command Sergeant Major Fausto L. Trivino enlisted in the U.S. Army in February 2002 and attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky as an Armor Crewman 19K.
CSM Trivino has held numerous leadership positions in the Armor, Cavalry, and Infantry community from Tank Gunner to Operations Sergeant Major. His previous assignments include: 1st Battalion, 64th Armor, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA.; 1st Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, Germany; 2nd Battalion, 9th Infantry, 2nd Infantry Division, Korea; 2nd Battalion, 11th Infantry, 199th Infantry Brigade, Fort Moore, GA.; 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, Germany; 7th Army Training Command G3 Operations, Germany; 7th Army NCO Academy, Germany; 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA; NCO Academy, Fort Stewart, GA; and the U.S. Army Center for Initial Military Training G357, Fort Eustis, VA. CSM Trivino deployments include Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq, Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, Operation Desert Spring in Kuwait, Regionally Aligned Forces rotations to Korea, and Peacekeeping Operations in Zambia.
CSM Trivino military and civilian education consist of all levels of the Noncommissioned Officer Education System from the Basic Leader Course to the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy, Class 72. He is also a graduate of the Ranger School, Air Assault School, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Stryker Master Trainer Course, Battle Staff NCO Course, Master Resilience Trainer Course, Common Faculty Development Instructor Course, Army Basic Instructor Course, Small Group Instructor Training Course, Basic and Advance Combatives Course. CSM Trivino holds a Master of Science degree in Management, a Bachelor of Science degree in Military Leadership from Excelsior University, and a Leadership and Workforce Development Undergraduate Certificate from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
