Lieutenant Colonel Philip J Granados is originally from Olney, MD. He received his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Quartermaster Corps from the University of Dayton Reserve Officers Training Corps in 2005.
From 2006 to 2011, while assigned to 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Lieutenant Colonel Granados served in successive assignments as: Distribution Platoon Leader (Iraq), 3D Squadron, 4th Cavalry; Forward Support Company Executive Officer, 2D Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment; Assistant Brigade S-4 (Iraq), Commander Forward Support Company (Iraq) and Commander Rear Detachment, 2D Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment.
From 2012-2016 Lieutenant Colonel Granados was assigned to United States Army Africa / Southern European Task Force, as Support Operations Officer and Theater Security Cooperation Planner in Vicenza, Itay. He was then assigned to the 87th Combat Service Support Battalion as the Battalion S3 in 3D Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade, Fort Stewart, Georgia and deployed with Special Operations Joint Task Force – Afghanistan in the Planning and Liaison Element.
Following his graduation from the Command and General Staff College in 2018, Lieutenant Colonel Granados served as the S-4 for the 504th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade and the Squadron Executive Officer for the 3D Cavalry Regiment, III Corps, Fort Hood, Texas.
In 2020, Lieutenant Colonel Granados joined Operation Warp Speed with the Department of Health and Human Services where he served as the Global Vaccine Supply Chain Operations integrator. As part of the Army G4 LTC Granados served as the Executive Officer to the Director and then as the Deputy Director Chief of Staff G44 Maintenance on the Army Staff. LTC Granados most recently served as the Sustainment Initiatives Planner for the 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Kaiserslautern, Germany.
Lieutenant Colonel Granados’ professional military education includes: The Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, Combined Logistics Captains’ Career Course, NATO Logistics Course, Defense Security Cooperation Course, Support Operations Course; and the Command and General Staff College. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of Dayton and a M.A. in Transportation and Logistics Management from American Military University.

Lieutenant Colonel Granados is married to Amy, and they have with four (4) children: Kasia, Robin, Malin and Abbott.
