LTC Johnny Mulholland

2d Squadron

Commander

Lieutenant Colonel Johnny Mulholland commissioned into the Infantry in 2005 from James Madison University ROTC.

His first assignment was in the 82d Airborne Division as a Rifle Platoon Leader, Anti-Tank Platoon Leader, and Pathfinder Company Executive Officer.

LTC Mulholland returned to the 82d Airborne Division after completion of the Maneuver Captain’s Career Course and served as a training advisor and Anti-Tank Company Commander. LTC Mulholland was then assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment where he served in 2d Ranger Battalion as an Assistant S3 and Company Commander.

After completing the Marine Corps Command and Staff College, LTC Mulholland was assigned to the 4th Infantry Division. There he served as the Division Chief of Operations, Battalion Operations Officer, and Brigade Operations Officer.

LTC Mulholland‘s previous assignment was at US Indo-Pacific Command where he was a contingency planner.

LTC Mulholland has deployed multiple times to Iraq, Afghanistan, Haiti, and Korea. His awards and decorations are commensurate with his military service.

LTC Mulholland is married and has three children.
